Head of the Lake Wedding Elopement
Glenorchy, Kinloch and surrounding area has been known as the head of the Lake to locals since the first pioneers arrived in 1962. Here we have many stunning lake, river and valley locations that would be perfect for your ceremony.
Your Head of the Lake Elopement includes:
- Wedding celebrant for civil ceremony (A marriage license needs to be obtained prior to your wedding day and is a separate cost to be paid for direct. Click here for more information on how to get married.)
- Two witnesses (provided and legally required)
- Professional photography during ceremony, followed by romantic photo shoot (approx. one hours including 100 + images)
- Celebratory champagne
- Wedding co-ordination
All ceremony locations are subject to river, lake and road conditions. We provide a wet weather ceremony location with all our packages. All forshores across New Zealand are public spaces and so we can not guarantee your ceremony exclusive.
Hitched in Paradise - NZ can also assist organising and booking any other additional requirements which could include but not limited to:
- Accommodation at one of our Head of the Lake lodges or private luxury houses
- Transport from your Queenstown or Glenorchy accommodation to the ceremony location - return
- Heli photo-shoot following ceremony
- Bride hair and makeup
- Bidal bouquet, button hole and or floral arch
